LEXINGTON, MISS– A Monroe county man serving time for rape charges was found dead behind bars.
Reggie Lee Jones was found Wednesday in the Holmes-Humphries Regional Jail. The Mississippi Department of Corrections says Jones wouldn’t wake up when they found him during the routine headcount. He was rushed to the ER in Lexington.. the doctors say he died of natural causes. Jones was two years into serving a 4 year sentence for sexual battery, reports WTVA.
