Inmate sought in Perry County for leaving work detail

PERRY COUNTY, Miss.- Police in Perry County are looking for Olin Ray Moody after he left a work detail on Monday. 

Moody, 33, was last seen wearing an orange sweater and blue jeans while working on Pumping Station road. He was there with District 3 Supervisors.

The Sheriff Mitch Nobles told local media, “Moody was last seen getting into a white vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus heading south on Pumping Station Road. That was around 10:25 a.m.”

Moody was working off old fines for a DUI offense, careless driving, and no drivers license. He is not considered armed or dangerous.
