J. Everett Dutschke Pleads Guilty to Sending Ricin Letters to President, Sen. Wicker, and Judge

OXFORD, Miss. — James Everett Dutschke has admitted to sending ricin laced letters to Sen. Roger Wicker, President Obama, and Lee County Judge Sadie Holland. He made that guilty plea in U.S. District Court in Oxford Friday. Prosecutors are recommending 25 years behind bars for his crimes.

His other counts, attempting to make ricing while in jail and trying to frame Elvis impersonator Paul Kevin Curtis for the crime have been thrown out.

He is also accused of fondling a minor who was under 16 years old. The hearing for that charge is scheduled for next Tuesday.
