Jackson– Jackson Mayor Tony Yarber tells WLBT that he’s going to announce the two finalists for the position on Monday. You’ll get a chance to ask them about some of your Metro crime concerns.
You’ll be able to meet the two that want to be Jackson’s next Chief of Police three different times before the selection. It’ll be forum style meet-and-greet; you can ask the candidates for the answers you need about their hopes for Jackson.
The first opportunity to meet the candidates will be at noon on Monday at the Smith Robertson Museum . You’ll have another chance Monday at 6:30pm at Westside Community Center. The final chance to meet the potential police chiefs will be Tuesday at a forum at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Community Life Center at 6:30pm.
