Jackson Officer Injured During Shootout Back on the Job

JACKSON, Miss. – The Jackson policeman, who was hurt in a shooting at a convenience store Sunday night, has been released from the hospital and is back to his duties.

Officer Adelbert Moore was grazed on the knee by a bullet that investigators said was fired from a parking lot across from the store. Initially, five people were questioned, but no formal charges have been filed.
