More jobs headed to the magnolia state

GREENWOOD, Miss. – Milwaukee Tool will be expanding infrastructure and adding 75 new jobs to the companies Greenwood operation.

A unit of the Hong Kong-based Techtronic is investing $1.5 million due to growing demand. Milwaukee Tool will bring in 10 workers to do the hiring.

At its Greenwood plant, the company makes saw blades and repairs tools.

Along with a $1.5 million investment, the city of Greenwood will be adding $150,000.

The company is expected to seek tax incentives.
