JSU Students Still Without Housing

JACKSON, Miss. – Jackson State University welcomed back its students last week only to find out they didn’t have enough housing for all the students. A week later, some students are still without housing.

This is the second year in a row JSU administration has failed to accommodate all its students by the beginning of the fall semester. Last year, the university had to borrow $10,000 to purchase an apartment complex in order to house excess students.

The School is no longer taking applications for student housing and according to multiple media outlets, is clearing out rooms for students as fast as they can.
