In the wake of Hurricane Katrina LeShay Brown, a 3 year old victim, was saved by a stranger. That man was Former Air Force Master Sergeant Mike Maroney.
Brown had been living for seven days with no food or water. The area in which she was located had been flooded but as soon as the water went down Maroney was able to pick up the little girl and take her to safety.
The two lost contact shortly after. Since then Maroney has searched for the little girl and ten years later through the help of friends and social media he has found her. She is now 13 and living in Waveland Mississippi.
The two look forward to their reunion.
