Keeping Your Kids Safe: Neshoba Man Could Get Life for Child Sex Crimes

NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss.–It could be life behind bars for Brandon Keith Farmer after he pleaded guilty in federal court to having sexual contact with a child under the age of 12.

It was Friday that Farmer, 20, entered his plea. He is a member of the Miss. Band of Choctaw Indians, which is under federal jurisdiction.

The sexual abuse happened in 2013 on tribal land near Pearl River. He was indicted on five counts in March.

Farmer will be sentenced July 31. In addition to jail time, Farmer could be forced to pay a quarter million dollar fine.
