Keeping Your Kids Safe: One Hundred Images of Child Pornography Gets Man Jail Time

BRANDON, Miss.–More than one hundred sexually explicit pictures of children on his computer has bought Thomas Williamson of Rankin County prison time. He pleaded guilty this week to child exploitation, says Atty. Gen. Jim Hood.

He pleaded guilty to two counts.

Essentially Williamson will serve five years in prison. The judge sentenced him to ten years on each count, to run concurrently. That means the sentences run side by side, not one after the other.

Five of those years were suspended. He’ll also be on probation for five years after he gets out and he has to pay $1,000 to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund.

Williamson is 66 now. He’ll be 71 when he gets out.
