Keeping Your Kids Safe: Ex-Firefighter to Get Child Pornography Sentence

COLUMBUS, Miss.–Having child pornography on his computer is not hat you’d expect from a trusted public servant, but ex-firefighter Tyler Tofton admitted in federal court last week that he had it.

Now that he’s pled guilty, the former Columbus fireman is free on bond, with sentencing set for later.

He was arrested in April 2013 after a cyber crimes task force investigation ended up with deputies searching his home and finding the child porn on his computer.
