KEMPER COUNTY, Miss. — The nightmare is over and little 6-year old Jashayla Hopson got to sleep in her own bed last night.

She’s the kindergartner from Kemper County that was kidnapped from her school Tuesday.  An Enterprise woman says Wednesday afternoon, a girl showed up on her doorstep socked by both the rain and her own tears.  “I had seen the Amber Alert and said to my fiancée’ I think she’s the missing girl everyone’s been looking for,” explained Michell Bell.

They called police and investigators confirmed it was Hopson.  Before the day was over, An Alabama woman had been arrested and charged with kidnapping.  “We know that more people are involved and we are going to bring them to justice.” Said Kemper County Sheriff James Moore.

He would not immediately give the woman’s name, but says she knows Hopson and her family.
