JACKSON, Miss. – He killed five and now Alan Curtis Dorris is Dead.
Dorris died of natural causes over the weekend, in the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman.
In 1993, Dorris was convicted of killing two men and a teenager in a bar near Jackson and then killing an elderly woman and her son at their home in Greenville.
Dorris had served 22 years of three life sentences. When police captured him at a roadside park in Arkansas, Doris had a gunshot wound to the mouth.
