Know your rights: voting rights workshop hosted in Brookhaven

The ACLU of Mississippi and the Lincoln County Circuit Clerk’s office are hosting a Voting Rights Workshop to make sure you know your rights when it comes to voting. 

The workshop will be hosted on Tuesday, October 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the County Courthouse (300 S 1st St., Brookhaven, MS 39601) in the Circuit Courtroom on the second floor.

You’ll learn about voting rights, the voting process, and new exciting voting right reforms in Mississippi. They’ll go over affidavit ballots, absentee voting, early voting, online registration, and more. they will also include a Know Your Rights portion with all information you need to know on how, when, and where you can vote.

The workshop is FREE and open to the public, refreshments will be provided.
