At Least One More Night in the 20s, Could Be Snow North

TUPELO, Miss.–Old Man Winter isn’t giving you permission to hang up your thick winter coat just yet. Mississippi will see at least one night this week in the 20s all over the state and Tuesday night could bring some of the white stuff to the north part of the state.

First, a couple of warmer days for Monday and Tuesday. You’ll see 55 north Monday, with low 60s central and mid 60s south. It’ll be a little warmer Tuesday, with south Mississippi getting into the low 70s.

Then there’s rain, and maybe a lot of it Tuesday night. That’s when a cold front comes in, dropping the temps down to 30 north, and giving you a chance of seeing some snow mixed in.

Wednesday will be a lot cooler, with 50 south, 43 central and 38 north. Tuesday night, it’s 20s everywhere, with north getting possibly all the way down to the 20 degree mark. Central and south will be just a bit warmer.

The weather starts to moderate for Thursday and Friday.
