JACKSON, Miss. – Bert Case is still in critical condition at St. Dominic Hospital. The 76 year-old is suffering from sepsis.
Sepsis is most commonly associated with older adults who have weakened immune systems. If sepsis isn’t treated, your blood pressure could drop drastically, which could lead to your death.
On Sunday, Case opened his eyes which is considered a step in the right direction.
Case has been broadcasting in Mississippi for over 50 years.
Sunday was Bert Case and Mary Weiden’s 32 wedding anniversary.
