Training won’t be easy. Should you complete the process, you’ll be expected to handle yourself on the road in any given situation. MHP troopers operate across a wide area of the state, often solo, with backup often miles away.

“The Mississippi Highway Patrol is recognized as one of the most elite law enforcement agencies in the United States. As a member of MHP, you are charged with enforcing laws on the state and federal highways. As a Trooper, you must be prepared to assist local law enforcement agencies and to respond to state emergencies at any given time.”
