Madison County Sheriff pledges donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey

After a slight case of mistaken identity, Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker has pledged to deliver relief items to those affected by the disastrous flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.

An original post by the Madison County (North Carolina) Sheriff’s Department spurred Tucker to devote his own efforts after clearing up the confusion:

Volunteer groups from across the state have mobilized to send relief to Texas and Louisiana, even as remnants of Harvey bear down on the Magnolia State the rest of this week.
