Man Attacks Two with Samurai Sword in McComb

PIKE COUNTY, Miss. – A man from Pike County is behind bars after police say he attacked his neighbors with a decorative samurai sword.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in McComb after Larry Williams Jr. got into an argument with Dennis Bell and his roommate Kendrick Pitman in their yard. Investigators say Williams grabbed decorative Samurai Sword from inside his house, cut pitman on the wrist, and cut Bell on his torso under his left arm.

Bell was treated at a hospital, but was back at home recovering Thursday. Pitman was treated at the scene, and Williams was booked in the Pike County jail on aggravated assault charges. Investigators believe alcohol was involved.
