25 year-old Jacob Shane Coleman, of New Albany, was first arrested by the Tupelo Police Department for shoplifting and was transported to the Lee County Adult Detention Center, where he attempted to post bond with counterfeit $100 bills.
He was then charged with false pretense and this case will be presented to a Lee County Grand Jury in January 2019.
Coleman has a previous criminal history of burglary of commercial building and was out on probation when this act occurred.
