An arrest has been made in a triple homicide investigation in Lowndes County.

Deputies with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a home on Mobile Drive in Artesia on Tuesday, and they found the three victims who were later identified as 31-year-old Demario Anquan Snell, 22-year-old Mauricio Lamarcus Nance and 24-year-old Tyshun Bernard Fields.

All three were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation was launched, and police have now charged Clark Earl Allen Jr. with Capital Murder.

While no specific motive has been released at this time, Allen was a guest inside of the home at the time of the murder.

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, officials stated that it was believed that the suspect knew the victims prior to the crime.

While Allen has been charged, the LCSO stated that the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with any additional information is still asked to come forward.
