Man Found Shot Dead in a Burning House, Police Say Step-son Pulled the Trigger

NESHOBA COUNTY, MISS– A gunshot blast through a wall, a house fire, and a body in floor is what police found when they pulled up to a home. 

Ozie Mcbeath, 83, had been shot and left for dead in his home. A fire had been started.

Victor Mcbeat, Ozie’s step-son, is locked up and charged with his murder, reports WTOK.

A family member tells the television station that Victor confessed the crime to her.

After the fire was put out, Victor was arrested in the woods behind the home.
