Massage parlor accused of sex trade involvement

ST. MARTIN, Miss.- JJ  Spa and Massage put up the “closed” sign Friday due to an investigation conducted by Jackson County police.

Officials are accusing the business of being involved in the sex trade after investigators uncovered evidence. The say that several Korean woman were working for the business and also acting as prostitutes. WLOX reports that investigators found evidence of online accounts of sex acts that were going on within the business.

The business manager, Yeon Sook Hwang is being accused of money laundering and transporting women to Mississippi for the purpose of prostitution. Those charges could carry a 20 year penalty.

When police raided the spa they found a naked man and woman in the process of undressing. Condoms  and other related sex items have also been found. As well as client phone numbers and lists that point to an organized crime activity in the business.

Police say they won’t stand for this and any other businesses involved in this type of activity will be found and exposed.
