McComb Man Arrested for Posing as Border Patrol to Rob Three Immigrants

MCCOMB, Miss.- A McComb man is accused of posing as a federal agent to rob three immigrants.

Drew Wallace, 37, was arrested last week for robbing the guys, but federal investigators are still debating whether to charge him for posing as a federal agent or not.

Amite County Sherriff Tim Wroten told the Enterprise-Journal he apparently knew the guys were living in the state illegally and went to their home in Osyka to rob them while pretending to be a part of the Border Patrol.

He took a handgun and their wallets, but now he’s sitting behind bars with a bond of $45,000.
