JACKSON, Miss. — The Air Force has named their top ranking fighter pilot and he is a Mississippi native. Hugh Walker graduated form Northwest Rankin High School in 2000 and from the Air Force Academy in 2004. Since in service he has flown over 160 combat missions in an F-16 over Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan, supplying support to ground troops and performing bombing missions.
