JACKSON, Miss.–The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum announced on Monday their 2014 class of inductees.

“In my mind, this is as accomplished and as diverse group of Hall of Famers as I have ever seen,” said Rick cleveland, executive director of the MSHOF.

Former Ole Miss running back and New Orleans Saint’s standout Deuce McAllister was on hand at the announcement.

“You just kind of get emotional as far as the plays and the team mates,” he said. “It definitely wasn’t just an effort on my own.  There were definitely guys who helped me get here.”

The 2014 class will be inducted at the Jackson Hilton July 25, 2014.
