STARKVILLE, Miss.–Thousands of State fans were on the way to Omaha this weekend to see the first game of what they hope will lead to a championship in the final round of the College World Series.
Meanwhile, back in Mississippi, fans who didn’t have the time or for whatever reason could not make it to Nebraska, were planning watch parties in Starkville, including a big one at Dudy Noble Field.
