HATTIESBURG, Miss.- On Thursday police arrested a suspect after a man was attacked, doused with gasoline and set on fire.
Reports from local media claim that 39-year-old Kunta Kidd of Gulfport was arrested on Thursday and booked in the Forest County Jail. He is scheduled to appear before a judge for aggravated assault charges.
Police say they are looking into a second suspect but no one has been arrested.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released but the man was taken to Forrest General Hospital and treated for burns on Saturday.
