Mississippi State ranked #19 in final 2017-18 rankings

After last night’s roller coaster of a National Championship game which saw the Alabama Crimson Tide win their 5th title in the last 9 years with a 26-23 OT win; the final rankings of the 2017-18 college football season have been released.

A 41-yard TD pass from Tua Tagovailoa sealed the deal for the Crimson Tide and now they end season right where they began..as the #1 team in the country.

Alabama is followed by the runner up Georgia Bulldogs at #2.

Georgia isn’t the only squad of Bulldogs in the rankings as Mississippi State finishes as the 19th ranked team in the country. MSU finished the season with a 9-4 record after defeating Louisville in the TaxSlayer Bowl.

The SEC has five teams in the rankings including the two at the top followed by Auburn at #10, LSU at #18, and Mississippi State at #19.
