Jackson, Miss– If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there’s plenty going on around the state.

You can’t do anything if you haven’t eaten–so we’ll start off this weekend with the Grillin’-n-Chillin’ BBQ festival in Taylorsville.
There you can shop, look at classic cars and enjoy some of the best BBQ from around the state all Saturday long.

If you’re really into the Industrial age, head on over to the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum in Meridian for the Soule’ Live Steam Festival.  The event runs through the weekend. There, you’ll be able to enjoy demonstrations of blacksmithing, book- making, weaving, foundry and spinning.

Finally, if you like a good gun show then you’ll need to head on down to the Jackson County Fairgrounds for the Pascagoula Gun Show. It runs Saturday through Sunday. Even if you’re just browsing, take a chance– there will be hourly door prizes.
