JACKSON, MISS– Looking for something to do this weekend? There’s plenty happening around the state.

It’s the perfect time of the year for chili and you can get more than your fill of it at the 3rd Annual Poplarville Chili Cook Off to Benefit Brother’s Keep Food Ministry.  Teams will compete with their own award winning chili recipes.. and check this out–you can taste all the chili combos for just a dollar.
If you’re looking for some shopping deals to kick off your holiday spending routine, check out the Red Door Market in Hernando. It’s a day of shopping and local artisans and through the night, local eats and performers. There will be prizes through the day to pair nicely with the food, drink, and deals.
And if you’re looking to celebrate your 2nd amendment rights, head to the Capitol City Gun show in Jackson. There will be guns and knives for you to check out.. but you must keep your weapons unloaded and secured.
