JACKSON, MISS–If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there’s plenty happening around the state. 

For something with a little smackdown, head to Horn Lake for the “Total Wrestling Explosion” at Latimer Lakes Park! If you’re a lover of rhythm and blues, check out the Fourth Annual Jackson Rhythm and Blues Festival. This Boomin’ festival presents a great mix of Rhythm and Blues artists to celebrate Jackson’s rich contribution in the fabric of music. Festival goers will experience over 30 performances on 5 stages satisfying your senses with a Boomin’ lineup, quality sound, delectable food and an engaging ambiance! Get into the Olympics Mississippi style with the Gator Bait Triatholon in Vicksburg The Olympic distance triathlon will begin at Messina Landing with a 1.5 Kilometer swim, 40 kilometer bike ride, and 10 kilometer run. For more information on this event, check out their website.
