More Molestation Victims in Case Against Former Mississippi Math Teacher

GULFPORT, Miss.–If you have any info on victims of William Richard Pryor, who was arrested last week on charges he took Mississippi kids to other states and molested them, you should call the FBI. Three more people have come forward since last week.

Pryor, 68, admitted last week when he was arrested, that he took kids as far away as California, beginning in 1973, supposedly on “summer trips” and molested them. The FBI released an affidavit to news media where Pryor detailed the activities, as did victims who were interviewed.

The new information came out in court this week. An FBI agent testified that there were now three more people who said Pryor had molested them.

That brought the total to 11.

Pryor also told the FBI that they would find child pornography on his computer once they analyzed it. More charges could be added.

Right now the former Bayou View Middle School math teacher is charged with transporting monors for sex and could get 10 years on that charge.

The judge declined to let him out on bail, saying the community was not safe with Pryor on the outside.
