A Monticello shooting victim has died after being taken to the hospital on Friday.
46-year-old Stephanie Hall was allegedly shot in the head by her boyfriend, 50-year-old John Hill, at their home on Trace Road early Friday morning. Hill fled the scene before police arrived, and after a manhunt, he was found dead from an apparent suicide.
Following the shooting, Hall was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she passed away a day later.
No motive for the shooting has been given at this time.
