More West Nile Cases Confirmed

 

JACKSON, Miss. – Six more Mississippians now have the West Nile Virus.

The Mississippi Department of Health confirmed the new cases today.  The new people that are infected live in Forrest, Hinds, Jones and Lamar Counties.  That brings the total number of people with the virus this year to 23, and one death.  Last year 247 Mississippians had the virus and five died.
