MS Salvation Army Moves to Help Oklahoma

JACKSON, Miss. – The numbers keeping coming in: 24 dead, 237 injured, many homeless and thousands without power. Recovery continues near Oklahoma City after Monday’s devastating EF5 tornado. Mississippians is already preparing to help though local Salvation Army chapters.

“Now from our end of it we are taking water donations and snack donations for our instant responders.” Said Jannett Spears with the Salvation Army in Jackson. “We are getting ready to shuttle trucks as soon as we get the message to go.”
