The Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team has defeated University of Illinois-Chicago 5-4. This ends the regional run for UIC at the NCAA Hattiesburg Regional at Pete Taylor Park at Southern Miss.
The Bulldogs will now battle the loser of the Southern Miss vs. South Alabama game tonight.
Southern Miss will take on South Alabama at 3pm.
