STARKVILLE, Miss. — Do you have cows? There is an app for that. Mississippi State University Extension Services (MSUES) has just released the Cattle Calculator for the iPhone. It helps those farmers make quick calculations regarding breeding and calving. It also keeping up with cattle weight gain and how much food the animals require.
“The app was deigned to help farmers get those everyday calculation and \tools they need at their fingertips, helping them to be a little more efficient when managing the reproductive aspects of their cow herds,” said MSUES research professor Brandi B. Karisch.
The best thing about the app, it is completely free.
