Multi-County Child Molestation Case Cracked

WINONA, Miss.–It’s not yet clear just how many kids were hurt after the bust last week of 39-year-old Christopher Lamar Miller of Winona. He now faces child molestation charges in three counties and as many as 17 separate counts in just one county.

News Mississippi affiliate 98.3 The Groove reported the arrest happened Thursday and Miller will be in court Tuesday for a hearing.

The charges that have been made public so far include four counts of sexual battery, seven counts of child molestation for lustful purposes and six counts of possession of pornographic materials, according to Montgomery County Sheriff Bubba Nix. He said more charges are coming in Montgomery County.

Webster and Carroll counties were expected to also file charges. The case will go to the Montgomery County grand jury.
