BIG CREEK, Miss.–In a community where everything is usually quiet, sirens wailed Saturday morning after a body was found in a ditch. Billy Covington, 26, of Big Creek, in Calhoun County, was shot.
Sheriff Greg Pollan told WTVA that investigators aren’t sure exactly how many times Covington was shot. His body was found about 10:30 on a county road.
No arrests have been made and the MBI was brought in to assist deputies. If you know anything about who killed Billy Covington, call the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Dept.
