Murder, Manhunt; Suspect Said to be Armed and Dangerous

JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY, Miss. – Jefferson Davis County authorities are searching for a man, considered armed and dangerous, and wanted in connection with a Monday night murder.

Detectives said Eric Lott, a.k.a. “Hubcap” shot Adrian Elly during an argument at an apartment complex near Highway 42 around 10:30 p.m.  Elly was transported to Forrest General Hospital, where he later died.  A second person, Willie Daggins, was shot in the leg and is listed in good condition.

Lott is believed to have left the scene in a 2004 white GMC Yukon with license plate number JDG-609.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Jefferson Davis County Sheriff Department at 601-792-5169.
