The Hinds County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two deaths reported in Utica over the weekend.
Officers were called to 5630 Duke Road in Utica on Saturday just after noon. Family had been attempting to reach the couple but were unsuccessful. That’s when they went to the home and found them dead.
Deputies and first responders reported to the scene, along with Hinds County Coroner, Sharon Grisham-Stewart.
Officials are investigating the incident as a murder suicide. No identities have been released at this time.
