Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capitol Area and the City of Jackson are proud to announce four new properties that will be revamped with Habitat houses.

The new homes will be located on Greenview Drive in South Jackson. The dedication will also be held there on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10 a.m.

These homes are put in thanks to the HOME Investment Partnerships Program helps local governments to collaborate with non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity to develop affordable housing for low-income families seeking home ownership.

These partnerships consist of sweat equity hours that part built up by the potential home owners, who go through the program and learn the ins and outs of being a homeowner. The homes are sold at no profit with an interest-free mortgage to families who cannot qualify for traditional bank loans.

The Habitat for Humanity Capitol area provides equal opportunity to all eligible persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origins. For more information on how to be a homeowner, volunteer or donor, call 601-353-6060.
