New Year’s Eve Party is Over If You Get a Free Ride

JACKSON, Miss. – Having one, or way too many, at a New Year’s Eve party, doesn’t have to leave you stranded or seated in a police car.

The American Medical Response (AMR), the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and the McCoy House for Sober Living have teamed up to offer after party rides in the Jackson metro area starting at 11 p.m. Wednesday through 3 a.m. New Year’s morning.

Drinkers who don’t have a designated driver can call 601.368.2323 to schedule a ride.  Callers must provide names, location and destination so that they can be taken home or to a hotel only – not to another party bar or club.

This is the 18th year AMR has provided the New Year’s Eve service.
