Obama urges Mississippians to overturn law

LONDON – President Barack Obama says the states new Religious Liberties Act is wrong and discriminative towards the LGBTQ community.

The president criticized both Mississippi and North Carolina for passing such legislation and urged other state not to pass similar bills.

Obama prayed the citizens of Mississippi but disagreed with its legislators decision, while holding a press conference in London.

The U.K. recently put out a travel advisory warning its citizens about possible discrimination if they were to travel to certain states.
