Over the weekend the Lee County Sheriff’s Department and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at 111 Mary Ann Street in Verona, MS.
Agents seized over a pound of methamphetamine, 200 grams of cocaine and over 500 tablets of Ecstasy. They also seized approximately $12,000 believed to be proceeds from drug activity. This is a result of an on-going investigation into drug activity at this residence.
Jarmesha McGaughy, of 111 Mary Ann St., Verona, MS, was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, with more charges pending. Her bond was set at $100,000.
