One of Seven Escaped Inmates from Covington County Jail Still on the Run

COVINGTON COUNTY, Miss.- Six out of the seven escaped inmates from the Covington County Jail Sunday night have been captured.

Covington County Sheriff Terry Holbrook said one inmate was captured quickly within five miles of the jail Sunday. Four inmates were captured Monday morning in Houma, Louisiana and Jerricus Hawthorn turned himself in to police Monday.

James Chase Morgan remains at large. He was in jail on a charge of simple assault on a police officer.
