On Friday Tishomingo County Sheriff’s officers charged 38 year-old Keith Letson, of Tishomingo County/Paden, with manslaughter.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred in May 2017 where Letson was involved in an altercation with a Harry Rodman Thomas III.

Thomas sustained serious injuries from the altercation and later died after several days spent in intensive care at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  The body was then sent to the Mississippi Medical Examiner where they recently listed his death as a homicide.  An arrest warrant was then issued for Letson and he was located at an MDOC facility in Greenwood. He was then brought back to the Tishomingo County Jail and served with the warrant.

His bond was set at $20,000.00 and he is currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections and formal charges with the MDOC are pending.
