JACKSON, Miss.–A person who was trying to cross the street is now dead after being hit not once, but twice in Mississippi’s capital city Wednesday night.
WAPT reported the person was hit once while crossing the street and was being loaded into an ambulance when a car came by and hit both the pedestrian, again, and the EMT.
The EMT was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the pedestrian did not make it out alive the second time around.
No names were released Wednesday night.
