Police Need Your Help Solving a Murder; Offering Reward

Jackson, Miss.- Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Benton County Sheriff’s Department along with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations need your help solving a murder.

Friday, July 4, 2014 between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., the body of Derrick “Spot” Sanders was found on the side of the road at the intersection of Highway 7 and Sexton Road in Benton County, Mississippi.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. The Benton County Sheriff’s Department is also adding an additional $1,000 reward for a total of $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved in this murder.
